Billionaires List update: Mukesh Ambani Surpasses Mark Zuckerberg; Adani Faces Losses
Written by Sanjay Kumar
Mukesh Ambani’s position in the global billionaires list has risen, while Gautam Adani has experienced a decline. Ambani has surpassed Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg, advancing from the 13th to the 12th position. Conversely, due to a continuous decrease in the value of Adani’s company shares, Gautam Adani’s net worth has diminished. Consequently, India’s second richest person has dropped from the 21st to the 23rd spot among the world’s wealthiest people.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Mukesh Ambani, the wealthiest person in Asia, witnessed a daily increase of $5.06 million in his net worth. This surge has propelled his total assets to $85.8 billion. In contrast, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg saw a rise of $35.1 million in his total assets over a 24-hour period, reaching a total of $85.5 billion. Mark Zuckerberg currently holds the 13th position on the Bloomberg Billionaire List.
