“I Am Much Bigger”: Elon Musk Ahead of Fight with Zuckerberg Reveals He Weighs Around 136 Kg
Written by Sanjay Kumar
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have reignited the internet’s long-discussed cage match since June. Musk announced the epic showdown would be broadcasted live on his revamped Twitter, now rebranded as X, in a tweet that exuded both bravado and charity. This tweet sparked a back and forth between the billionaires on their own platforms. Zuckerberg responded, expressing readiness for the fight but not holding his breath.
In response to a tweet sharing their physical profiles, Musk claimed it would be a good fight. He acknowledged that if the fight is short, he might win, but if it’s long, Zuckerberg’s endurance might give him the upper hand. Musk revealed he weighs around 300 pounds (approximately 136 kg), emphasizing that weight divisions exist for a reason in MMA.
If the fight is short, I probably win. If long, he may win on endurance.
I am much bigger and there is a reason MMA has weight divisions.

The Twitterverse exploded with anticipation, making Musk’s tweet go viral. Even Twitter’s CEO, Linda Yaccarino, got caught up in the hype and announced she is clearing her schedule for the big event.
Mark Zuckerberg came forward, stating he is ready for the fight and waiting for Musk to confirm the date. In a Threads post, he mentioned that he suggested August 26 initially, but Musk hasn’t confirmed it yet.
The talk about the battle of billionaires began when Musk and Zuckerberg playfully proposed a face-to-face clash on their social media platforms. Fans eagerly awaited an official announcement, but the chatter about the fight had died down, leaving doubts about its possibility. Reports even circulated that Zuckerberg was uncertain about whether the event would ever happen.
However, Musk seems determined to revive the match. Rumors circulated about his training with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert Lex Fridman and UFC champion George St-Pierre. There were even reports of UFC president Dana White stepping in as a mediator between the dueling moguls.
While Musk has been busy training, Zuckerberg has been working on his latest project, Threads, launched as a direct challenge to Twitter in July. Though it had a promising start, the app’s daily active users have been on a decline, losing up to 80% of total daily active users from its peak.
The question remains whether the much-anticipated cage match will indeed take place. If it becomes a reality, sports betting experts currently favor Zuckerberg, given his reported intense training and success in MMA fights.
