Growing With an Entrepreneurial Mindset

Growing With an Entrepreneurial Mindset

“If you don’t believe in yourself as the best, then how can anybody else believes you?”

According to researcher Carol Dweck, a researcher at Stanford University – There are two general types of mindsets: a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. People with a growth mindset, engage with the term originally coined to their work and embrace their problems as opportunities for growth and learning.

Their views on obstacles are as interesting challenges, which they persevere through in order to learn new things. A person as Individuals with a growth mindset believes that their abilities are developed through hard work and practice. Thus, they have a deep love involvement and appreciation of learning.

Real Story – Principle to understand the idea

Mark Manson in a best-selling book (The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck) shares that the practical advice for not letting other people affect your state of mind is the best way to climbing ladders towards success. If You Are a Badass at Making Money, then only you know how limiting beliefs get in the way of making the type of money you really want.

How to develop a growth mindset? Why is mindset important in developing positive habits? Why is a growth mindset important? As an Entrepreneur, these types of questions always click to your mind. Let us prove some of your questions here:-

So often as a single Owner or Entrepreneur, we overestimate the importance of a single event (like a marathon) and underestimate the importance of making better choices on a daily basis

Here’s the truth: it is your daily actions that will change, what you believe about yourself and the person you become in the future. Steps to follow before climbing up the ladders for making yourself the Best Mindset Entrepreneur:

  • It’s all about setting a schedule, showing up, and sticking to it.
  • It is about focusing on building the right identity rather than worrying about getting the right result. Its focus on identity-based habits ties in directly with the research from Dweck and her contemporaries.
  • When you let the results define you, your talent, your weight, your test scores, your job, your performance, your appearance — you become victimized of a fixed mindset.
  • Hereby, when you dedicate yourself to showing up each day and focusing on the habits that form a better identity from the previous one, that’s when you learn and develop. That’s what a growth mindset looks like in the real world.

What You Should Do Now?

In case my steps above haven’t made it clear enough already: then skill is something that you can cultivate, not merely something you’re born with. There are few listings that are describing an easy way to develop yourself as a growth mindset Entrepreneur:-

Keep trying: You can become more creative, more intelligent, more athletic, more artistic, and more successful by focusing on the process of keep trying. Stop! try to find the outcome as it always pays off!

Focus on the process, not the result: Instead of worrying about winning the championship or achieving everything, commit to the process of training like a champion to do better for future. For Example,

  1. Instead of worrying about writing a bestselling book try to commit to the process of publishing your ideas on a consistent basis.
  2. Instead of worrying about getting the six-pack abs, commit to the process of eating healthy and exercising each day.

Acknowledge your weakness: Always Staying in your comfort zone makes it hard for you to grow. Consider this example: Let us recall, a time when you were in school and were dealing with a subject that you struggled with. Perhaps you told other people, “I’m just not a science person” after dealing with a bad test grade.

If you ever want to get better, first things are – you must first stop with the excuses and it’ll keep you exactly where you want to go.

It helps to give yourself a specific reason to get over your limiting mindsets e.g. “I want to get a better grade on my science tests” as your statement.

Of course, the process to successfully adopt a growth mindset kind of appeal is a bit more complicated than it looks like – so let’s dig in a bit deeper.

Create time for daily reflection: By the end of every day, spend some time thinking about what went well and positive than after focus on what didn’t. If you don’t create time to reflect back, it’s hard to learn from existing work perform as an Entrepreneur. Creating a good routine around reflection can help you to understand how your own actions may be impeding towards your success.
