Bengaluru-based nutrition-focused D2C startup Good Monk (@goodmonk.in) has raised $2 million (approx. INR 17 crore) in a Pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with participation from existing investors Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures, and ThinKuvate. Announced on April 17, 2025, this follows a previous INR 7 crore raise in May 2024, bringing the total funding to over $2.8 million. The capital will fuel R&D, product innovation, and expansion of its clinically validated nutrition mixes, which have driven an impressive 11-fold growth in the past year.
Founded in 2022 by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, Good Monk, a flagship brand of Superfoods Valley, offers multivitamin, probiotic, and fiber-rich nutrition mixes that blend seamlessly into everyday meals without altering taste, color, or smell. Catering to kids, adults, and seniors, its products address micronutrient deficiencies with over 50 nutrition mixes. Clinically tested, the Good Monk Family Nutrition Mix reportedly improves energy, immunity, and gut health in 95% of users after 120 days. The startup, which gained fame on Shark Tank India Season 4 with a INR 1 crore deal from SUGAR Cosmetics’ Vineeta Singh, retails through its website, Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce platforms.
“We’re committed to making nutrition simple, effective, and accessible for Indian families. This funding will help us innovate and scale to meet growing demand,” said Anand. Abhishek Goenka, Managing Partner at RPSG Capital Ventures, noted, “Good Monk’s clutter-breaking innovation in nutritional supplements aligns with the rising consumer demand for convenient, effective solutions.” The startup aims to expand its digital footprint and launch new products to combat hidden hunger.
With India’s D2C nutrition market booming, Good Monk’s focus on clean-label, science-backed products positions it as a leader in the health and wellness space. Posts on X are buzzing, with users calling it a “game-changer” for family nutrition.
