Pre-orders for these cutting-edge devices will commence on September 15, with the first shipments expected to reach customers on September 22.
Price Comparison: iPhone 14 vs. iPhone 15
Apple’s latest offerings, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, come with price tags starting at ₹79,900 and ₹89,900 in India, respectively. In contrast, the iPhone 14 is currently available on Apple’s official website for ₹69,900, while the iPhone 14 Plus can be purchased for ₹79,900
Specification Comparison: iPhone 14 vs. iPhone 15
Released last year in September, the iPhone 14 is powered by the Apple A15 Bionic chipset, offering storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. It boasts a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with a resolution of 2532×1170 pixels and features ceramic shield protection. The dual-camera setup on the iPhone 14 includes a 12MP primary sensor paired with another 12MP ultra-wide sensor.
On the other hand, the iPhone 15 comes equipped with the A16 Bionic SoC, which features two high-performance cores with a 20 percent reduction in power consumption, as well as a 6-core CPU for enhanced performance. An impressive 16-core Neural Engine is onboard, capable of handling nearly 17 trillion operations per second.
The iPhone 15 also boasts a significant camera upgrade, featuring a 48MP primary camera with a quad-pixel sensor and 100 percent Focus Pixels for rapid autofocus. Although the display size remains the same at 6.1 inches, Apple has doubled the brightness capability to an impressive 2000 nits, surpassing the previous generation.
Innovative Features
One standout feature in the iPhone 15 series is the adoption of Dynamic Island technology, effectively replacing the notch present on the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models. Apple claims that this technology will offer users a more intuitive way to interact with their iPhones.
Additionally, Apple is making a significant shift by adopting USB Type-C technology for charging, departing from the proprietary lightning connector found in the iPhone 14 series. This change promises to improve compatibility and convenience for users.
With these groundbreaking upgrades and innovations, Apple continues to solidify its position as a leader in the smartphone industry. The iPhone 15 series is expected to set new standards for performance, photography, and user experience.
