Following the untimely demise of Aditya Singh Rajput and Vaibhavi Upadhyay, it saddens us to announce that Nitesh Pandey, a renowned actor, has passed away at the age of 51. Etimes reports that the talented actor, known for his role as Harish Kumar in the series “Pyaar Ka Dard Hai MeethaMeethaPyaaraPyaara,” succumbed to a cardiac arrest.
Nitesh Pandey not only made a significant impact in his portrayal of Harish Kumar but also played a pivotal role in the popular TV show “Anupamaa.” Earlier today, the news of Nitesh’s passing was confirmed by his brother-in-law and producer, Siddharth Nagar. This loss casts a dark cloud over the television industry, leaving behind a void that will be deeply felt.

In a heartbreaking conversation with Etimes, Siddharth shared the devastating news that his brother-in-law has departed from this world, leaving his sister Arpita Pandey in a state of profound shock. Nitesh’s father has already embarked on a journey to Igatpuri to bring back his son’s mortal remains, expected to arrive by the afternoon.
Upon receiving the tragic news, Siddharth expressed, “We are utterly speechless, unable to process the reality of the situation. I haven’t been able to communicate with Arpita since the tragedy struck.” Currently on a train en route to Igatpuri himself, Siddharth plans to join the family in this time of profound grief.
Siddharth also shared, “Nitesh was much younger than me. He exuded vibrancy and zest for life, and to my knowledge, he did not have any history of heart ailments.” This unforeseen loss has left everyone grappling with immense sorrow and disbelief.
Nitesh Pandey embarked on his theatrical journey in 1990, marking the beginning of a remarkable career. In 1995, he showcased his talent in the detective role in the play “Tejas.” Throughout his career, Nitesh Pandey left an indelible mark in various television serials, including “ManzileinApaniApani,” “Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani,” “Saaya,” “Justajoo,” and “Durgesh Nandini.”
His versatility extended to the silver screen, where he made appearances in notable films such as “Om Shanti Om” and “Badhaai Do.” Notably, Nitesh also established his independent production house, Dream Castle Productions. His outstanding performance in “Khosla Ka Ghosla” garnered widespread acclaim. Over the past 25 years, he had become a familiar face in Indian television.
Born in AlmoraKumaon, Uttarakhand, Nitesh Pandey shared a special connection with the region. He tied the knot with actress Arpita Pandey, whom he met on the TV show “Justajoo,” in 2003. Prior to this, he had been married to actress Ashwini Kalsekar.
