After its theatrical release on April 25, 2025, the Telugu comedy-drama Sarangapani Jathakam is poised to make its digital debut. Amazon Prime Video has secured the post-theatrical streaming rights, with the film expected to be available for streaming by the end of May 2025.
Priyadarshi’s Sarangapani Jathakam Sets OTT Premiere on Prime Video
Directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti, the film features Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Roopa Koduvayur in lead roles. Despite receiving favorable reviews for its humor and performances, the movie garnered a modest box office collection of ₹2.75 crore in India within two weeks of its release.
Sarangapani Jathakam narrates the story of Sarangapani, a man deeply influenced by horoscopes, who embarks on a journey that challenges his beliefs and leads to self-discovery. The ensemble cast includes VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, and Viva Harsha.
The film’s music, composed by Vivek Sagar, features tracks like “Sarango Saranga” and “Sanchari Sanchari,” which have been well-received by audiences.
With its upcoming release on Amazon Prime Video, Sarangapani Jathakam aims to reach a broader audience, offering a blend of humor and introspection.
