The Beginning – BlueGital’s Tale of Incorporation
Bharadwaj KR and Harini T started their entrepreneurial adventure– Blue Eye Communications as a “start-up” in 2012, and today they run this advertising firm with office in Bengaluru. Initially, they only did offline advertising – creating ads, release of ads and printing brochures. Due to COVID, companies began focusing on digital marketing, and the advertising landscape saw a significant upheaval.
The founders made the strategic diversification into the digital area when they realised the growing demand for specialised digital services. As a result, BlueGital was established as a sister business inside the group. Within a short period of time, BlueGital registered rapid growth and is offering a wide range of services to eminent businesses in India and abroad.
Industry Evolution Over the Years
The previous three years have seen significant changes in the digital sphere. 2019 saw some investment in digital advertising, although it was not a major number. However, when COVID made a serious impact on the world, people began investing heavily in digital products to be sold on the market. As soon as a child and a grandfather started using mobile phones, everyone in the house did as well.
Thus, it evolved into a marketing channel that is now inaccessible to any brand. “You may not get amazing results from the digital strategies immediately but you need to be active on digital platforms to register your brand in people’s minds”, quoted Mrs Harini T. The digital space has become highly significant in 2020, and a lot of money was invested there. The marketing budget has been split into four categories today – offline media, press media, below the line (BTL), and digital – even if the intensity has subsided.

Blue Eye Communications was a result of the entrepreneurial ambitions of a ‘start-up’ couple – Harini & Bharadwaj KR. Founded in 2012, it marked the coming together of like-minded advertising professionals with vast and varied advertising agency experience of over 25 years. Having made a modest beginning, Blue Eye grew by leaps and bounds.

Overcoming the Challenges Along the Way
Initially, when Mr Bharadwaj KR started BlueGital, he had no idea how to talk in the digital language. He had difficulty persuading customers of the value of his service offerings. He discovered that there is a knowledge gap in digital technology that is impeding his ability to advance in this field while attempting to overcome this obstacle.
So, he enrolled at IIM Rohtak for Executive Programme in “Stragetic Digital Marketing & Analysis”. It provided him an in-depth understanding of the digital medium. Sharing more about industry challenges, Mrs Sindusha P, Digital Specialist at BlueGital LLP asserted, “The key challenge of this space is not being able to predict the mind of a consumer.
People think differently depending on their age, location, style of living, etc. Determining consumer behaviour is therefore the biggest issue. Moreover, With the right strategies and a well-thought-out approach towards adapting new technologies and trends, we ensure that our marketing efforts reach the desired outcome.

The executive team of BlueGital comprises industry veterans who are passionate to deliver value-added digital services through an exciting suite of high-tech capabilities. Bharadwaj K R, founder and director, has more than 30 years of experience working as an advertising expert for many businesses.
From 1995 on, he has held a variety of positions, usually at the CEO and director level, in five different organisations. He earned a Master’s degree in business from Andhra Pradesh. After years of being a stay-at-home mom, Mrs Harini T – Director, an inspirational businesswoman, began her own firm in 2012, along with her husband. She is a graduate and takes care of the finance and human resources departments at BlueGital.
