Impressively endeavouring into the automobile servicing realm

Over a steady period, the automobile servicing market has experienced tremendous growth. It is observed that as soon as the warranty period terminates, only one-third of the cars revive to their primary dealers. The remaining population prefers a private garage or servicing centre. In conversation with Tanmay Goyal ( Founder, Triumb ), Business Connect presents you with a new business venture TRIUMB, using a special chemical composition to clean cars and give them a new shine.

CAN YOU ARTICULATE OUR READERS WITH AN OVERVIEW OF TRIUMB?
TRIUMB is a platform, dedicated to car cleaning as well as providing local garage comparisons on our website. We plan to collaborate with various organizations across the country to avail the benefit of our services which is to get their cars cleaned while they are parked inside the organization on a daily, weekly or monthly package basis.

We are an App-based Car Cleaning Management platform making car cleaning easy, cost-effective and time-saving. Our Mission is to build the most efficient and user-friendly platform for automotive solutions. At Triumb we believe everything should be a call away.

HOW WOULD YOU DELINEATE THE INTELLECTUAL MINDS BEHIND THE COMPANY’S FOUNDATION?
The Founding team comprises 4 members, Tanmay Goyal (Founder & Director), a man with a vision and leadership qualities binds the whole team together and with his great managerial skills, will take it forward. Harsh Agarwal (Co-founder), is a hardworking guy who we’re fortunate to have on the team as it is for his exemplary operational skills, everything sales smoothly.

Anshuman Vyas (Co-founder), he’s the dormant techsavvy guy every successful team ever has had. Manages everything backend, knows the system inside out, and bets you can’t go a day without him. Samarth Prakash (Co-founder), is who we count on for his unconventional and refined marketeering. All four of us complement as well as challenge each other in ways; in our belief, the team has the perfect amount of all elements. Under these guys work the dedicated teams who are the real assets of this company, for it is their efforts that give us the confidence to dream of a remarkable future ahead.

CAN YOU SHARE YOUR REMARKABLE INCEPTION JOURNEY WITH US?
The idea to build your next-door car cleaning platform has been lingering around with me for the past 6 years, before I leapt courage to gather around like-minded individuals, and brought them on the team. The company started with a bunch of innovative and diligent minds from Manipal University Jaipur coming together to map out the future of the company on paper, during the pandemic of 2020.

Spending months on the research, market analysis and developing a profitable business plan the company finally got officially registered in March 2021 and is now in its pre-launch phase, already in talks with many investors as well as startup funding schemes to start the fully-fledged operations.

HOW SIGNIFICANT IS RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PROGRESSION OF YOUR SERVICES?
R&D is very essential as it gives you some really useful insights and is the key to survive in the long run. Along with creating new products and adding features to old ones, investing in R&D connects various parts of a company’s strategy and business plans, such as marketing, competitiveness and cost reduction. R&D today has such importance that a lot of small businesses are bought out by larger firms in the industry for their R&D. So whenever you read about a firm being acquired by some fat company, now you know what that is for.

However, speaking strictly for a startup, you’ve to be extremely cautious about the process. While the rewards can be very high, the process of innovation is complex and risky. The majority of R&D projects fail to provide the expected financial results. So, that’s exactly where you draw the line. While I completely support the idea of researching around your existing universe and continuously improving to keep up with the everchanging consumer preferences, development and diving into new scopes should be kept at bay at least until you’ve created a strong base in the market and have decent funding and backup to keep the fuel going.

CAN YOU SHED LIGHT ON YOUR PERSUASION OF LEADERSHIP AND WORK CULTURE IN THE ORGANIZATION?
Leadership is about having a vision. It is also about having the mettle to realize that vision. A leader should be able to inspire, motivate, and create engagement and a sense of ownership in the team. He should set a path for everyone to follow. A leader should act as a coach and a mentor to the team. But above all, a leader should be grounded. And being just a human as you and I, he might have pitfalls too, but then should know how to learn, rise, do better than ever and set an example for all.

We at Triumb follow the principles of a flatwork culture where there’s less hierarchy, less management, omit lengthy protocols and get work done fast. We are a bunch of open-minded individuals who love to welcome prospering ideas whether they come from the top management or just our regular finance guy. We listen and try to learn from everyone around us.

CAN WE HAVE A GLIMPSE OF TRIUMB’S ACHIEVEMENTS?
The company within a very few days of starting its operations got incubated under the E-Cell – Manipal University Jaipur. Further on milestones, Triumb was launched officially on 26 March 2021 through a live webinar hosted by E-Cell. The company was launched by Mr. Mithilesh Kumar, Joint secretary of PHDCCI in presence of our Mentor Dr. Kulwant Singh, Deputy Director ( E-cell, MUJ ) Within a month of its launch, the company has a fully functional Web Portal ready to go live, a dedicated team and is actively in contact with many leads for funding and investment

WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE A TOKEN OF ADVICE FOR THE ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURIAL ENTRANTS?
Here are a few things I’ve learnt from my experience over time and would love to share with the readers if it brings any value to them:

  1. The formula for a successful business: Find your niche, Look for Problems, Build a solution/Product, Find your target audience segment, Market it to them.
  2. Find a mentor to guide you through. Hang around with people from various spaces.
  3. Networking is the way to stick around and make it big.
  4. Don’t get overwhelmed by the plenty of options out there, it’s too easy to get carried away with the kind of
    consumerist mindset these days. Build a product you have absolute confidence in. Give it all you have. Don’t go all over the place. You’re on your way to failure if you do that.
  5. Change is inevitable, the demands and expectations change too fast these days. Never get comfortable with success. You wouldn’t even know when someone else takes away your audience if you’re not continuously offering excitement to your customers. Keep the engagement going. Pay attention to the customer feedback, it’s the true reflection of your service and the most genuine piece of advice.
  6.  Always look at things from two:
    • Your business goals
    • Customer’s needs

Try to align these two as much as you can, to strive in the long run.

IN DRAWING THE INTERVIEW TO A CLOSE, WOULD YOU LIKE TO IMPART A MESSAGE FOR THE BUSINESS CONNECT READERS?
We came up with the idea to embark on this journey in very challenging times. When the whole world was facing a crisis, we were up at nights, hustling to make this happen. But just as anybody else, the chatters about the sufferings and environmental issues concerned us too and gave us moments of retrospection.

That’s when we realized to act towards our social responsibilities and decided to do something about it. And keeping that in mind, we’re proud to say that we came up with a product for car cleaning which uses a special chemical composition to help cut 99% consumption of water by volume. We hope this helps us give back to nature and do our bit for society.
