After solar eclipse of the year, people will be able to see total lunar eclipse or Chandra Grahan 2022 on Tuesday (November 8). Moon turns copper red during the total lunar eclipse. NASA said that It will be the last Lunar Eclipse for three years as the next one will occur on March 14, 2025. A total lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are precisely aligned and the Moon moves into Earth’s shadow. In other words, the Earth is blocking sunlight from reaching the Moon.

The total lunar eclipse will be visible across North and Central America, as well as in Ecuador, Colombia, the western half of Venezuela, and Peru, according to NASA. The Moon will set in Puerto Rico shortly after totality begins. As well as Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand will be able to see the eclipse. Additionally, people in Alaska and Hawaii will have the opportunity to see every stage of the Eclipse. In India, the total Lunar Eclipse will be visible only in the eastern parts, and the partial Eclipse will be visible from most parts of India.

Partial Lunar Eclipse will start at 02:40 PM and a Full Lunar Eclipse will start at 03:47 PM. The maximum lunar eclipse will be visible at 04:29 pm. The total lunar eclipse ends at 5:11 pm, and the moon sets at 06:19 am. The duration of the total phase will be 1 hour 24 minutes and the partial phase will be 3 hours 38 minutes.

A lunar eclipse in India will start with a moonrise and end with a moonset. 8 November 2022: Lunar eclipse 2022 in India will be visible from 5:32 pm to 6:18 pm.
