Coronavirus outbreak: Three suspected cases of coronavirus reported in Delhi

The WHO (World Health Organisation) in its latest report on Coronavirus situation said that there was a very high risk of the virus in all over China and high at the regional and global levels.
Coronavirus believed to be started in China’s Wuhan province, the deadly Coronavirus has now spread to over a dozen big countries including the United States, Japan, India and South Korea. Most of the major International airports in India are on high alert and are screening all the passengers coming from China and other countries. Many people are kept under observation for this suspected case of coronavirus in different cities of India such as Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi.
The patients who had returned back from China recently, were admitted to the RML Hospital (Dr Ram Manohar Lohia) in New Delhi with similar respiratory symptoms to those of the deadly disease currently gripping the world.
This virus has spread to every corner of the world with almost 19 countries, including India’s neighbors Sri Lanka and Nepal. Ultimately, the virus has the potential to spread fast to other countries because of its tendency to spread human-to-human transmission, according to the World Health Organisation.
What is coronavirus?
The coronavirus is a family of all the viruses that can cause multiple ranges of illnesses in humans. Diseases like the common cold and more severe forms like SARS and MERS are life-threatening.
How is India responding to the deadly outbreak?
According to the Health Ministry of India, 9150 passengers have been screened for the fast-spreading coronavirus. Coronavirus has been reported in India, therefore the Health ministry has asked travelers from China to report to the nearest health facility in case they do not feel well. The ministry has also asked authorities at seven major airports of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Cochin to screen those traveling from China.
