THE BEGINNING – TO NURTURE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

It served as a precursor to Maharaja Sayajirao University and contributed to its founding legacy. In 1909, the enlightened ruler established the “Kala Bhavan”. The Legislative Assembly passed the bill to establish the university, and the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda came into existence on April 30, 1949.
