PlayStation 5 in India: available for pre-orders on 23th June through Sony, Amazon
The PlayStation 5 is back in stock in India, with Sony’s game console ready to go up for pre-orders once more. New PS5 devices will be available for pre-order on Amazon India and the official Sony shop in the country’s fourth sale since launch.
Both e-commerce stores have created web banners to promote the event. Aside from those two, Vijay Sales and GamestheShop will have the PlayStation 5. Pre-orders for these platforms will begin on June 23.
Over the last few weeks, rumors about PS5 India restocks have been circulating, and now we have proof. The PlayStation 5 restock date of June 23 comes over a month after Sony’s next-gen system was last accessible in India, and more than a month after the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition was initially made available here.
The Sony Center website ShopAtSC has announced that PS5 pre-orders placed on June 23 will begin arriving on Saturday, July 3, as predicted between June 30 and July 5. The May 17 pre-orders were delayed by a week, and the May 27 pre-orders were delayed by 11 days.
From July 3 onwards, Amazon India, Croma, Flipkart, Games the Shop, Prepaid Gamer Card, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales are expected to begin shipping the fresh wave of PS5 pre-orders. Of course, the greater concern is whether the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition stock will survive more than a few minutes or even seconds and if certain sites (hello, Croma, Games the Shop, and Prepaid Gamer Card) will be able to manage the demand in the first place.
Since its introduction, Sony has struggled with a lack of supply for the PlayStation 5. A scarcity of semiconductors, as well as lockdowns stemming from the Covid-19 epidemic last year, have hampered the production of the in-demand gaming equipment.
For the time being, there are no indicators that Sony will be able to increase manufacturing to satisfy demand. Those considering purchasing the PS5 and finding it to be the only choice should keep an eye out for pre-order options.
