Reliance Jio Ranked Fifth Strongest Brand Globally.

Global brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance has released the new annual report of Global 500 valuable and strongest brands, and there are two Indian entries in one of the segments.
The Four-year-old telecom venture and digital arms of Indian -Jio, with a BSI (Brand strength) score of 91.7 it’s named the world’s 5th strongest brand behind the likes of car company Ferrari and soft drink manufacturer company Coca-Cola.
The Brand Finance Global 500, which ranks brand value and, also determines the relative strength of the brand on the basis of a balanced scorecard of metrics evaluating marking investment, stakeholder equity, and business performance.
According to the annual report of the most valuable and strongest global brands released by Brand Finance, the Chinese chat app called WeChat is ranked the first strongest brand in the globe.
In the first paragraph they wrote, “Entering the ranking for the first time in this year and getting the title of the world’s 5th strongest brand, is Indian telecom giant, Reliance, with a BSI score 91.7/100 and the elite AAA+ brand strength ranting.”
Despite being just four-year-old, Jio is the largest mobile network operator in India and 3rd largest mobile network operator across the globe, with nearly 400 million subscribers, started by the report.
Mukesh Ambani founded the Reliance platform in 2007. In 2015, he made major investments into Jio to relaunch. India had bad network connectivity and high internet data price, that’s when RIL made a re-entry into the telecom business, started offering affordable internet services and voice calls.

According to this report, Apple has overtaken Amazon and Google and earned the title of the world’s most valuable brand for the first time since 2016.
