Anandram Sarda & Associates was founded in 2012 by Anandram Sarda, an FCA with 19 years of rich experience in taxation, finance, audit, etc. He completed his chartered accountancy examinations in a single attempt within the tenure of article training in the year 2002. He underwent article training in Lovelock & Lewes, Hyderabad [member firm of PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PwC)], which rewarded him with rich learning experience of working with small-to-big and multinational corporations with auditing software. He became a partner with RG Sarda & Associates in 2002, setting the path for a wealth of practical experience and skills over the next two decades.
In 2012, he retired, and with the accumulated skills and experience, he launched Anandram Sarda & Associates. At the outset, he envisioned a firm with optimal standards offering dedicated and personalized services as a one stop destination. Under his stewardship, the firm has become an ecosystem of continuous knowledge sharing and proactive and pragmatic service delivery with a personalized approach. OUTWEIGHING THE PANDEMIC
The pandemic has transformed the business fraternity in all aspects. The sudden halt in economic activity had grave implications for business growth. As taxation experts, Anandram Sarda & Associates turned this challenge into opportunity by spending their time on knowledge upgradation and learning new topics such as “Multilateral Instruments” (MLI) in international taxation.
MLI is a sweeping change in interpreting the tax treaties to avoid double taxation. Government has announced host of fiscal and monetary measures for supporting the economy and financial system of the country. Most of the changes in taxation laws were made to support businesses and improve their cash flow.
“We have advised our clients for availing the beneficial measures for business sustenance and continuity,” says Mr. Sarda. The firm has been using cloud software and storage for over eight years. This helped them provide uninterrupted and continuous services to clients remotely even during the lockdown.
ON ROUTE TO NOTABLE MILESTONES
Unbridled by economic crises and COVID-19, Anandram Sarda & Associates is scaling growth at a steady pace. In 2022-23, the firm is planning to start specialized verticals for income tax, international tax, GST and other indirect taxes, audit and assurance, corporate secretarial, consulting, and accounting and payroll, each to be headed by a qualified chartered accountant. They are seeking a 10x to 15x increase in revenue within the next 3-5 years. Last but not least, the firm is set to establish a pan-India network of chartered accountants spread across 8 to 10 major cities in India.
